Portland is becoming a bigger tourism hub (Japan even has a Portland mascot) so short term rentals are hot.

This problem will be exacerbated if/when US bonds go into a negative yield like Europe and Japan.  

ran until Japan cratered .still pretty good though  looks like we can get about 500.00 stumpage on an average patch of doug fir. but in 93 or so we were getting 900 to 1100 MBF on the stump  :)  it was Yahtzee time.
