jsut check zoning on STR .. in many of these resort towns there are pretty strict rules.My grandfather took me to the Dells in 1965 I still remember it fondly.. very cool we rode those duck boats LOL  and watched the German shepard jump across a chasm.

The towns I can think of would be places like Waukesha, Brookfield, Watertown, Fond du Lac, West Bend, Beaver Dam, but they are all much smaller and I don't know what the markets are like.

Your accountant should be doing this for you when you decide to make the election.I am not fond of it entirely unless you are buying large numbers of units within one property.Most of this would be better covered in a phone call than a written post here.
