So my father is nearing his older years and is ready to get out of the business.

Still, with the way my father spoke, he was so excited when he heard his property was worth so much in 1980, he might have not followed his common sense, and sold to a Carleton Sheets student.Thinking back, if he had a choice between in Carleton Sheets student with seller financing, and an NNN lease, he would have been better with NNN.

My father passed a few years ago and my my mother is aging and she has asked me to help her with a rental property she owns in New York City, Queens to be exact. 

My father just told me that he had built when I was 5 and paid $26,500 , back in the early 60's is now for sale of $610,000. 

She grew up in an impoverished circumstance with her father moving them around a lot.
