Love the ancient HVAC issue.

Fortunately for me my ancient units are not suitable for even considering opening up, but they're what people expect in old neighborhoods.

Biggest problem is that one lives in Greece now.So here I am sitting under contract on a property waiting to get the FedEXed papers back from greece so I can finally close on my first property. 

My cousin has olive and lemon orchards running along the side of a steep mountain in Achaia, Greece.

Taken together the retirement piece of things has been our most powerful tool for real estate liquidity and I'm still in my 40s (barely, but still, not ancient :)  But this only works (alert, incredibly obvious point ahead) if there is money in the account. 

Unlike Greece or Spain who are part of the European Union and cannot print Euros, we create wealth by infusing liquidity and our economy expands. 

A house with a bad old design like that screams that other issues are likely like terrible wiring, an ancient electric panel, aluminum wires, asbestos, lead paint, bad plumbing, and a creepy Norman Bate-style basement.
