Monika Haebich Instant booking & changing algorithms?
22 January 2016 | 2 replies
I'm currently working on an article that covers homeowner/manager frustration with VRBO, HomeAway, Airbnb & other listing sites, and I was hoping to get homeowner feedback and quotes from people doing short-term or vacation rentals.I'm specifically covering homeowner frustration on changing algorithms for VRBO's "Best Match" function & thought on the instant booking function.Have any of you been affected by VRBO's "Best Match" function?
Brenda Whittaker Why did Brandon say that?

I feel better informed after reading this thread. If I am understanding correctly asset protection through an LLC is about control.A little like constructive possession in a criminal case.If it's in your sphere of control you could be considered in possession if you knew or should have known it was there. The more control the owner maintains over the asset the less the assets are protected from the owner's liability and I suppose it works the other way around. So the OA is kind of like a algorithm that if adhered to does its own thing and the more it does it's own thing the more a lender might be inclined to trust the LLC rather than the the owner who may screw everything up.So a sloppy or less than clear OA is a bad sign.If so I understand why withdraws or actions other than stipulated in the OA  might be sort of a sign of a loose cannon on board.A salary would be ok as long as it not easily changed and perhaps even stipends, dividends or bonuses spelled out clearly would ok.
Mac Connolly Poll - Anyone want to buy without an agent and get a comm refund?
31 January 2016 | 14 replies
Through some pretty complex automation, we are able to handle the whole buying process from start to finish, and give a 50% commission refund in cash.I am trying to gauge interest for this type of service, to see how likely people would be to forgo using an agent for something like this, especially since we can offer a 50% commission refund and all of the same services. We also built a pretty complex algorithm that asks a ton of questions about you, what you're looking for, sensitivity to crime, noise, walking distance, etc, and spits out the best neighborhoods and even individual houses for you to look at.We can even schedule and show you property.
