The challenge with these locks is that if you need to terminate or remove a code after the fact you’re SOL: the code duration or use case is locked in and since the “locks don’t talk” back to the Internet there’s no way to remove/change the code after the fact unless you use their local USB stick which acts, similar to a ZWave/wireless SmartHub to sync codes back and forth to another device (like your PC or phone) through the Internet to their system. 

How do I get passed the "start up capital hump"?

They always send me emails tempted but never get over the hump or following through....There's another similar site (I think if I remember right) called house canary, but don't remember if it does short term... 

Once they rented, they either stayed for multiple years(3 years+)or they would stay a few months stop paying rent for 3 months+ then when we evict them they made sure to trash the place as "revenge" for us being so unfair and kicking them out.

We finally started doing this after 2 years of replacing probably hundreds of white towels, and the stains have nearly stopped completely.Another nifty item I've been putting in all of our rentals is bedroom lamps with USB plug-ins in the base, like you find in hotels. 

With the broader market slowing down and the US being in a downturn, I think demand for A-class properties will go down in some markets.I deal in mostly C-class properties and in my market I have not seen a slow-down. 

Just gotta get over the hump of the first deal!

The place is very slowly creeping upward in price and with places like the diamond Mills's and the entire downtown area it may finally get over the hump.

But it took a few months to get over the hump.
