It seems like it's sort of slim pickins (for what I want) all over Colorado!

Hello all,I have been working with another investor on a potential Joint Venture deal, that ended up being more slim than we would prefer.

Seems to be slim pickings. 

The MLS is ver slim right now.

These 147 climate controlled units would just need to reach 0.3% of those households.And I think further value can be created by 1) slimming down the expenses 2) creating an online presence and 3) maybe create additional self-storage on the site.

The likelihood of finding a qualified tenant before February 1 is "very slim" (definitely less than a 50/50 chance).  

The odds that this is a possible solution are pretty slim but it may be worth a call to whoever supplies your water. 

I have never filed a claim with them so the coverage might be slim.

If the former chances are pretty slim in Virginia Beach but cities like Norfolk and Portsmouth you can likely make that happen but your still looking at duplexes or SFH.

My profit margin is going to be pretty slim (mortgage of $700, HOA of $400, similar units in the building have rented from $1300-$1500) so I don't know if I can afford a property mangemnt company especially since they all seem to charge a full months rent for leasing services.
