Hi all:I’m considering buying an STR in midland and/or Odessa and wondering, for those familiar with the market, how is it performing?

Good design, clean, comparable with market rates, and professional photos.

A lot of my out of state clients love this market because there's still tons of opportunity for finding BRRRRs and flips.

Although we don't specialize in buy/flip/sell, we do manage over 1K rentals here in the Central Indy market. 

Now as a Banker I understand you will have a shorter pay off but you also have to take into consideration market declines.If the market declines in any way or if your area suddenly gets hit with a higher than normal foreclosure/short sale values can drop.

We are planning a move to be closer to family and are looking at whether to rent or buy given the current market.

It will make your life easier since potential clients will be able to look you up on the NMLS website to verify you are a legit loan broker.

The partnership and market strategy led to a successful outcome with minimal holding time, maximizing return on investment.
