I was actively looking for and interviewing contractors for some work I knew would need to be done on the property before I could rent it out.After interviewing a number of contractors, I decided to move forward with my contractor of choice (Jerry from Noble Home Improvements in Denver).

Too bad, just my bad choice of working with them and the Company. 

I think you cannot go wrong with either choice.  

The main two options you have are DSCR (the best choice) or Bank Statement Loan (2nd best if you are self employed and have some type of income). 

Interest only is a personal choice but I think a poor one. 

But if I had a choice knowing what I know, I'd pick the same area.If I didn't have a choice to do it knowing what I know now, I wouldn't take it.

As people we have moral responsibilities to each other, even as soulless real estate investors we have to think about the cost our choices have on others.

The main thing I want to highlight, is that if you want to start and build your career in the RED business, you have to build your base of strategic knowledge and your identity in the RED business.

Agree with @Paul Defngin here - a DSCR loan is likely a good choice for you - they are typically 30-years fully amortizing or even 30-years with the first 10-years interest only payments

Currently, the Superhost vs Normal Host isn't quite descriptive enough to help the guest make the best choice for them!
