I am still reading through the awesome getting started guides on BP and working out what my strategy is going to be and where my market should be.

So may as well make it an Ohio LLC as you'd have to register a California LLC as a foreign entity anyway.

Hello,I am new to investing and I lack knowledge of how to use my passive losses from rental properties. or more than lack of knowledge, I just don't think my CPA knows this topic well.  

Is there enough margin here for a flip, or would this be better as a long-term rental?

Hes a great agent, very well-versed in house hacking and investing. 

I took my first attempt at BRRR and bought a house (Kansas City) for 200k, which will be my new residency, so I could use less downpayment and needed a second bedroom anyway.
