@Tyler Hogan I am not a CPA, so you should consult one before making any decisions, but I have spent 8 years studying and implementing personal finance and stock market investing strategies (investing mainly through retirement accounts).

My issue with people trying to implement this strategy is they have no money.

Anyone else implementing something like this???

Engineers and Computer Programmers, Dentists and Accountants should all probably avoid this segment.

Educate yourself on YouTube and podcasts as you continue to grow...then implement more...website, VA from upwork etc.Hustle it...learn about all creative financing strategies...Lease Option, wholesale lease option, Subject To etc.This is once you have wholesaled some properties and have some 40k plus...at minimum.This is doable, first educate yourself on those specific strategies then go to work.

Property managers suck the profit out of short-term rentals.When you want to scale and be successful, you extract the leeches from the formula. you don't need a property manager, you need a good property management system such as ownerreservations or guesty or something else. you need automation such as a good programmable code lock that works with one of these you automate responses and everything else.

.#2:  Consider implementing a 1031 exchange when you do offload your assets.

If you decide implementing asset protection is best for your situation, just do it right.
