The house has been winterized by HUD so the well, toilets, septic, electric, etc. aren't on and the lines are presumably filled with an antifreeze of some sort.

If your going to be a full time investor, I suggest you find a Construction management Company or a General Contractor to do some work for and Learn more about where the ,$ is spent when building house or a bank, etc!

Minneapolis does require you hire Minneapolis licensed contractors that are expensive and can add 100's to 1000's to each repair bill for things like electrical, plumbing, heating, AC, siding, and roofs.
