I have no problem renting my houses but sometimes lose my apartment/attached rental property units’ tenants faster than I believe I would otherwise because they would prefer to live in detached houses.

The costs (at least for me) are not crazy high.If I wanted to add a pool table, I could find a number of great units on Craiglist for free.

Be firm , everything has to be out , even stuff in the yard , You could even go 1 better and tell him you will pay the 1 st month for a small storage unit for his stuff . 

I use the $/unit as an initial filter when looking at properties.

I encourage all others who have been swindled or have had similar experiences to share them too and to submit complaints to the Better Business Bureau, Department of Consumer Affairs, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, State Board of Accountancy, Federal Trade Commission, Police Department’s Financial Crime Unit, and the District Attorney.

For multiple reasons, the types of jobs they work don't provide for the rising cost of living.In our market, there are more SECT 8 vouchers issued than housing units available. 

However, my 8-unit just burned down a couple days ago and it is not livable (and won't be for some time).
