Just like when you get in little tussles over some repair item.. that might be 500 to 1000 bucks.. and agent says I aint paying that out of my commish.. well would you rather have 14k.. out of 15k or NOTHING>  I have seen agents blow deals over these silly don't think it through situations.

Given the complexities you have here, it is probably worth a few bucks to sit down with your CPA and your lawyer to hash out the issues.1) Since the mortgages are in your name, I assume you got conventional (Fannie) mortgages.  

I did run all my numbers :-) and I should at least break out even or make a few bucks, but it's worth it to me to get my uncle out of the situation.

now i know you cant do that as a landlord.. but as a seller we retain the right to cancel the deal return all monies plus 500.00. this is why landlords get the big bucks on their rentals to put up with this stuff.. 

Almost any other type of fee can be twisted into a conflict of interest, or the "perception" that we are doing something just to make an extra buck. 

LeeCA charges him $800 bucks a year, even if that company is a TX LLC so monetary cost to maintain won't be a factor. 

That's why they get the big bucks.
