Hello All,I am new to this site, so I'll start off with my introduction.

It stands out as a small metropolis with an affordable housing market, good job opportunities, and easy access to nature.With a median home price of about $259,817, Huntsville ranked 26th lowest in our analysis.

This gives people little reason to choose older existing homes over new developments.

The state of Maryland seems to be a high market for this but I continue to be hopeful.  

Would love to discuss and try to navigate it. 

According to the FMR HUD for that zip code a property of this type should get somewhere around $1620 per month. 

From what I've been reading, it sounds like this is the time to change to copper piping but it sounds like it will cost a lot and take some time to complete.

I just want to make sure that this is actually allowed before I go down this path.

-Should I purchase closer to home so I can be the Broker for my own transactions?

But considering we have to go with the traditional 20% down payment, we know we do not currently have the budget to get an STR that would stand out and have all the amenities that we would like to be able to offer and be in a great location.So I would like to ask for some advice from all the experienced real estate investors on BiggerPockets.Do we get in the game now?
