Hello all,I have been contemplating getting a vacation rental but biggest issue would be financing.

Does this mean they would still get the full $500k tax break?

I would love if a CPA could reach out to me on this post or by direct message that I can speak with over the phone to get an answer to my full in depth question and situation to see if it is possible. 

The idea is intriguing, but online research has yielded conflicting opinions and "pay to play membership plans; can't get a straight answer whether this is legit or scam and not worth the front-end subscription payments.  

When i get contact of the owner of the property should i ask if i can send an inspector out there?

That being said, I was wondering if anyone had experience with it they could share or resources they could recommend?

Get out there around 5pm-6pm and walk around the block, talk to residents if you can and see what they have to say?   

Turning to real estate, starting out with getting my real estate agent license and using that as foundation for investing!

I have this plan where I first start out with a duplex , Rent 1 live in one for a year move back in with my parents and then leverage off that duplex to get another property right away.
