Just wondering about anyone's take on this?

Just wondering why you needed to do that so late.

If you are doing an FHA 203k you have 6 months to finish rehab and get moved in.

I was wondering what everyones thoughts were with the positives and negatives on this kind of investments.

We owned a 2 bed 1 bath that we purchased in 2006 and shortly after buying it we learned from the city records that the 200 SF bonus room was not a legal addition and the walls were basically poorly mortared cinder block on a concrete floor that was covered up with drywall to make it appear like a finished space.

I will crunch the numbers when we are finished, but I can almost guarantee there would be little to no profit left if we were to hire contractors to do all the work.

So take some time to see what's going on at a base near you if you have any questions of what bases are great rental markets please feel free to reach out and I am sure some of the wonderful people of BP can answer some of those questions.

No luck there so far, wonder if there is other strategies.
