I'm in NJ but a quick search on Houston landlord tenant law pulls up a Houston Housing and Community Development Dept page which say:---------------------- A landlord must LET TENANTS ENJOY THEIR HOMES.

My two large losses this year happened because of bad, fluffed CMA's that we went by because we bought before we had access to comps ourselves and had a general knowledge of the neighborhoods. 

I would never want to treat an investor as less than absolute gold and risk losing access to capital.
