I went to see the property, took notes and pictures of the property and my intentions were to go home and estimate the repair costs.

My big picture view is that metros reach a 'critical mass' point where they can attract the 'right' kind of intellectual capital and human resources (workers etc) that build the base of a solid regional economy. 

Maybe hold off on the family picture that includes the pet tarantula, though.

I can only imagine trying to work out the growing / learning pains of RE when I'm also paying 2 car loans...if I close my eyes and picture that scenario, it doesn't look fun or pretty.Thanks again!

I have requested more than pictures from this appraisal but they are dragging their feet, the lender says they will get the full report over as soon as this appraiser send it.

Pictured above is lovely old home located dead smack in the middle of the BIG city of Houston... looking at the lot and the ENORMOUS trees you would never think so!
