I am a 4th year student in college and I know I don't have a significant amount of capital to begin with so I am planning on starting out with wholesaling to gain some knowledge of the industry and some firsthand experience (with slightly less financial risk) and most importantly build up capital!

2-4 units are not considered multi-family by the industry, so you're highly unlikely to have that access.Even 5-20 units are questionable.The threshold is company specific, but would guess it's around 20-30 units.
