Anywhere along the blue line on the NW side has been solid.

A quick search of 2BR whole homes for 4 adults and 2BRs in Myrtle Beach the weekend of 10/20 that’s open in your listing show 1k listings, most with ocean views, that you don’t have.

It is know for being a blue collar area, but there has been a lot of investment in the past few years in the area.

Greetings fellow members, I am looking for someone who knows the Myrtle Beach area well, specifically vacation rentals.All of my RE investments are in Michigan, however, I jumped on an opportunity to acquire a 1 BR/1 BA condo unit in a building that is of mixed use (year round tenants, vacation rentals).The intention was to flip it for profit, but I read some encouraging things about the MB market and I see that particular area (I believe it is called the Golden Mile - 7509 N Ocean Blvd) and now I am thinking of another possibility- will this unit generate enough revenue to cover about $6,000-$6,500 annually?

I'm talking about under $100k mid-west or south-eastern US, C-class, blue collar neighborhood properties being managed by a presumably quality property management company.

She is a full time nursing student, and he works blue collar for a major worldwide company. 

Candidly, I'm not in the Smokies' market (although I'm in the Blue Ridge mountain market), so do take my opinion with a grain of salt.While I don't think we'll have a total market crash of any sort, I do feel as though the Smokie's market seems a little overheated from afar.
