Real estate is a diverse field requiring a wide range of skills.

I have some experience building websites and doing SEO so I'm hoping to improve on those skills and be able to leverage that in Real Estate.I am pretty familiar with social media marketing as I have just implemented some strategies helping my fiance to re-vamp her blog (twitter, instagram, tumblr, facebook, google+, and on and on...).

It gives people a false sense of skill.

@David Martin Jr I would build up my skill set first by learning to analyze deals. 

.- tiled (again, this is a great skill to have) the backsplash in the kitchen- My wife and I spent a TON of time on the landscaping and curb appeal.

Technology (and those that embrace it) will certainly change the game but I don't see the need for inter-personal skills going away any time soon.

You will have to work on your soft skills and working past being introverted when it comes to dealing with people.
