We would follow abandonment processes for getting possession back and storing belongings.But we are less likely to encounter this because we have this clause in our rental agreement:In the event of abandonment, arrest or death, the following person has the authority to decide when to terminate tenancy and how to store/distribute my belongings:Name: ____________________________________________________Address: ____________________________________________________Phone #: ____________________________________________________If we have an applicant who will be living alone we include this wording.

Requires a bit more management but makes more sense given the current legal framework.Happy to chat and share info on the market if you are still exploring investing in Madrid Real Estate.

Decide how you plan to scale. 

Decide if you're going for temperature or humidity control. 

Any reasonable Property Management software will help you keep track of all these regardless of what bank you use.

Third, tenancies in room hack situations are very hard to manage.

You should decide what you want to do based off your financial and time situation and just do the one thing (possibly 2) but really no more than that.
