Looking over my insurance polices I’ve noticed that I pay for “Escape of water from sump” says it covers sewer line backup or interior drains outside of flood water… the cost is tremendous does anyone else carry this?

I would find the contractors before buying otherwise o wouldn’t know how much it will cost to rehab i would also have an idea how much it costs for typical things so I could put in offer faster Such as cost to replace toilets Cost per square foot for LVP and install Cost for shower curtains and rod Cost for painting cabinets Cost for new kitchen faucet and installationCost for new fixtures in tub and sink in bathroomCost for resurfacing 10’ countertop Cost to paint inside 1300 square foot house with light grey walls and white trim Cost for new handles on 6 interior doorsCost for new handle on 2 exterior doorsCost of 6 new ceiling lights and installation Cost for 2 new exterior lights including installation Cost of new A/C system for 1200 square foot house Cost to have lawn maintained for 3 months while rehab is taking place Etc etc 

If there are similar homes in the Queens area, especially on market, perhaps a good idea is to checkout which interior trends appeal to you & contact those contractors if they’re closely related to your investment. 

Interiors of those cabinets, and all other cabinets are as good as new.

I actually thought you were commenting on video cameras for rental interior/exterior not pipes.

Will it still rent when the interior is in original 70s condition?

It took 2 days just to remove enough of the privet so I could gain access to the interior of the lot for a survey. 

To add on to this, I had a handyman come give me a quote on a full interior rehab last week.

Sorry if you are not a newbie at this but I am assuming you are:Since you do not have a contractor in mind today, it is IMPERATIVE that during your property walk that you take lots of pics/vids with voice comments of the 25 areas (if they all apply, ie, exterior, interior, from roof to base, ceiling to floor).
