I have a Chinese foreign exchange student interested in renting my property.

Personally, I have foreign investors on my projects and I'm quite conservative with projections, but always looking for local intel to make my numbers more accurate. 

There was no “report”, but the licensed septic man (Walt Steuer) did not recommend any repairs; he simply hauled the waste away.

From the linked article:"Sixty percent of low-income renters spend more than 50 percent of their income on rent, according to a report in May from New York University’s Furman Center."

Maybe someone is reporting them.

However I always return the application fee if I don't end up running a credit report and I do that last so many people get weeded out before I get to the credit report so most of my prospective tenants who are rejected do get their application fee returned.Damon DuperreDBM LLC

information on this report is as of November 11, 2014.None of the rents from the free market apts were included on this DHCR report.
