Not only are they watching to many live cop show and are making undercover contact with the phone number on the sign pretending selling a home to obtain the information of the offender, but our local magistrate also usually increase the fine per sign when someone who was caught try to fight it.I haven't seen a bandit sign in my town for years...

He was initially denied and had to hire legal counsel to fight it.   

Under normal circumstances yes, but I don’t know if you can currently fight someone who swaps roommates.

Reasons I like STR over LTR:* No landlord/tenant relationship, no evictions* Higher returns* Weekly professional cleaning* Weekly review of property condition* Weekly repairs/maintenance performed* I can visit the property whenever I feel like or need to by simply reserving a few days on the calendar* Easier to raise rental rates, can react to market conditions more quickly than if locked into a long term lease* Just as easy to outsource to a PM as a LTR, or not, in the right locations* Easy to purchase in locations you want to visitGovernment in many areas (all if you consider CDC mandates) treats landlords as the enemy, why fight them when they hold all the cards?

All that being said I’m going to try to fight them.

You can fight tooth and nail to find something local but you're most likely to only buy into a lot of headaches.

Like a prize fight, could I carry the fight if I needed to or should I go for the knockout?

We were hoping to rehab it and make it a good lease option or seller financing deal, but we got such a ridiculous offer we took it (and the HOA was fighting us on turning it into a rental.) 

It's Agricultural and old side of town was full of Mexicans who get into fights.
