This is what it states:The covenants, conditions, and restrictions of this Declaration shall run with and bind the land, and shall inure to the benefit of, and be enforceable by, Declarant, the owner of any lot, and their respective legal representatives, heirs, successors and assigns, and, unless amended as provided herein, shall be effective for a term of twenty (20) years from this date, after which time said shall be automatically extended for successive period of ten (10) years.

Could this cause income and expenses to be reported in different years for the same property if the sale extends over year end?

With established, written leases, they can usually get the underwriter to extend the deadline for work to begin after the lease expires.

The plumbing works, just slower than you thin k it should.The more important question:  why didn't you cancel during our extended inspection period, if it was a problem for you?

If it’s desirable land that just lacks infrastructure, why wouldn’t neighbors just buy the parcels to extend their land?

By modification, the bank extended the term of the property to 40 years to drop the mortgage payments.

This will most likely be our primary residence that we will occasionally have to rent out ( AirBnB or VRBO) for when we are out of town for extended periods of time for work. 

This is extends past the term of the current lease but I figure if the tenant is paying for the improvement, then it is most likely that she will not be going anywhere for the foreseeable future.I don't know enough about the Trump tax plan yet so I wasn't sure how this would work out.
