BTW, we love this market because we've got a major university a few blocks away, Fortune 500 employers in the area and other factors which drive constant rental demand.

We also like the Shenandoah National Park area, but its near the limit of how far we would want to go for our first STR (4.5hr drive). 

At most of my dinner's I talk about real estate and this deal specifically, I buy contractors lunch, and fill up my tank with gas driving there.

I've also been doing some driving for dalliers in the surrounding suburbs as well. there's plenty of property. the price point is a little higher but it's a fast growing area and I believe it was just listed as one of the hottest markets for 2022 let's definitely connect for sure.
