Needs work done but got me thinking about buying duplex’s if I can get the whole building with multiple spaces

I would give them some space, but you want them to realize that you're both struggling together through this difficult time.

Downsizing is for sure a good thing for us as the big house is just a bunch of wasted space for us and our lives have shifted to where we don't get to enjoy our park-like 20 acres like we used to. 

You own the inside living space but the owner of the building owns the land and physical building, so maintains the grounds and externals of the building. 

The structures will drift to what was being offered before "Big Money" entered the space and the 85%/100% structure may not make a return.

I am not sure there is space in this context to act the way OP suggests and emerge with a clear conscience unless you focus on your own situation and bury your head in the sand.  

I thought this may be best option as it still gets bank in space on time (and protects me in case there are issues with title). 

What would be a good space to make money?
