I'll continue to look on my own until closer to when I can actually close. 

But all in all i will continue looking into it.

Our intent was to not renew one tenant who was month to month, and paying well under market, move into that unit and then continue to rent to the other existing tenant. 

I charge that $50 to the tenant and they have to reimburse me or I continue with the eviction process.

I would say that the case could be made if you had a change of job, but not if you continue working at a remote site.

Some tax pros prefer to continue issuing 1099s anyway to be on the safe side.

So in the example, wouldn't I be paying less and less interest every month/year , given the balance in continually decreasing? 

My goal is to continue investing in real estate; first to increase some initial capital and later to cash flow perhaps out of my 9-5.Looking to add another investment property this year, or two for a stretch goal.
