Legally press for a partition which would force a court house sale (no body wins but another investor unless I try to buy it myself at auction to get rid of my brothers)2.

My builder says by doing 3 houses at the same time he can get the price around $95/sq ft.

Our agent was very good and used her resources to find us the best fit for our money, but the contractor just slapped these homes together with builder grade materials that we have now almost remodeled almost all the homes with better materials.

It does not account for rent growth over time or appreciation, which for me have been far more powerful wealth builders than the return in the first year of ownership.

The keys are location, the right parcels, the right deign, the right builder, very detailed cost estimates  and the right capital structure. 

In our last house, we had "builder's grade" carpet that we got brand new when we moved in and it lasted for 18 years without being peed on, puked on, torn, stained, or destroyed. 

Pay special attention to running the numbers while considering the options a builder might have. 

I own two new buildings that were built within a year of each other, by the same builder with same amenities, etc..... 

Walking distance from great restaurants and nightlife.Condo property is nice, has a swimming pool, big gym, covered parking spot.Condo is from 2005 but has had no major updates since then, so it's "ok quality" but has no great upgrades in place, is builder qualityI owe about 100k on the mortgageHOA fees are about 300 per month.Property Management Fee of about 150 per month. 

Talking to a few builders, it's clear moving out for 3-6 months or so will probably make it easier on everyone.
