After reading books such as "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" and "The Book on Rental Property Investing" I have been obsessed with owning property.

I know investing is not a get rich fast scheme, and I know you have to be patient, I get all that.

I currently have 6 units, and should be under contract for my 7th and 8th unit later this week.You will never become rich serving in the military, but if you take advantage and capitalize on some of the benefits we receive, you can certainly set yourself up for long term wealth and early finical freedom.

Also pick up the book on tax strategies that is part of the rich Dad poor dad series.  

But I want to be rich.

It's not a get rich quick scheme but if you're prepared to hang in there and grind it out, there's a lot of things to learn and some money to be made.

I state this to show I understand this is no a get rich quick scheme and that I'm not trying to just stop working, but rather to get to a place where I work when, where, and how I choose.At this point, I'm not necessarily interested in making real estate investing my primary business, but rather a side business for investment.

It is not get rich quick.
