They're not interested in a relationship, they look at every borrower as a one time customer and want get as much from that one deal as they can.The good lenders want to be reasonable (and, yes, still make money) and work with the deal because they'll want you to come back to them for your next 20 deals as well.

I make sure to provide great customer service and open communication with the seller because then the seller will start liking you and will work with you better.That's just my experience so far.

You also have to fully disclose to your clients and customers that you have an ownership interest.I don't recommend it unless you really know what you're doing and can run it honestly with full disclosure.
