In CA they require 4 years, they do recognize the education, if you have engineering degree or what not, in that case you still have to get 1 year experience in the trade, maybe not really pounding hammers but at least a supervisory level.

I'm in CA and right now its seems only people with large capital can play this game.

just saying the attraction to mid west is usually for those that are completely priced out of the local market Like many in CA or even here in PDX.. but in Central Oregon there are many price points and rent points that will match mid west.. and you don't have the long distance risk ..

Is wholesaling challenging in California?

I just bought a property in Houston and am making $800 positive cash flow for one single family home.I live in Ca and invest in Houston.

I know this is California and all but it still is noticeable when values rise like this!
