As long as you have a good attorney going through this with a fine-tooth comb to prevent the scam scenario, I would lock it in.

You’ve got a great career, likely with some flexibility in scheduling if you can make that happen….my wife supported me as an RN starting out in this self employed world my first year of leaving traditional employment behind me.  

When the deal was under contract it was all about following up with people and scheduling meetings to answer questions, sign subscription agreements and collect funds. 

We established a draw schedule with the PM that was coordinated with the Contractor up front. 

There are plenty of traditional lenders out there who will use Schedule C and Schedule E income, although most will want to see 2-3 years history.
