If you have the nicest property on the block in the hood unless massive gentrification happens you stand to lose a lot investing in those areas.

we sold to Stimson a few years back.Sadly I got it approved through Yamhill county for a massive zip line park .. and it would have been awesome but my partners in the deal wanted the cash when Stimson made their offer.. so was not to be.. it would have been fun though.  

It’s a 4br, 2450sq ft and there is a massive 4 car garage + shop.

.- be open to teaming, partnering, but have contract, lawyer, - fail small and little forward.......rather than some massive whipeout.. 

In my opinion, value-add is really where the returns are unless you are investing in a market with MASSIVE appreciation (hard to predict, and usually those markets have high prices). 

The question on whether to invest here really becomes do you believe in the Boston market for the long term (you're investing in local economies just as much as you are in concrete!).

Convince good tenants to commit to longer term leases.So in the fall of 2016 I took the plunge and closed on this massive purchase !!!

I was amazed and disappointed at the lack of interest Airbnb has in rooting out scammers using their system to fleece the public, even when presented with concrete evidence.  

Vernon may still be a bit dicey in some parts, but New Rochelle has a massive amount of investment going on right now and has good transit 'bones'.
