It hasn't happened yet.And yet again I have to point out the entire point is the tenant is being interviewed.

If you have good relations, you’ll get a pretty neat list of good general contractors.The next step, then, is to interview the contractors.

Ask/interview the agent, get referrals from other BP members in your area, etc on who knows this line well.

@Kyle Keller, while not active in hotel investing myself, I have interviewed 3 different guests on our podcast lately that specialize in buying, repositioning, converting and flipping hotels (respectively). 

Maybe find another team and interview them further.

Many don't realize there is a HUGE difference in the skill, experience and professionalism you get from different agents - we know from statistics that over 70% of all clients only interview one agent.

I interviewed his references and just had to try and give my best judge of character... until meeting him, I didn't think I could find someone who communicated well... but they are out there!
