As for the roof, it would depend on if it's a complete Tear-off (MUST be a complete tear off if there are currently 2 layers on it) and also are you installing 15yr, 30yr, or lifetime shingles?

Changing 4 prong dryer to 3 prong???

It should have been removed when the 4-prong cord was installed, but a lot of people don't do that.If that metal strap is still there, put the 3-prong cord through the hole in the dryer, attach the 3 wires to the three screws on the plastic terminal block in the correct order, install the cord clamp, put the panel back, and you're done.If that strap is gone, and it isn't with the owner's manual or something, you need to replace that strap.

Disclaimer: I've done this exactly once.Here are some things I did in the last few days of renting out my single-family house.Go around to all the rooms and make sure everything works - doors open and shut, windows open, shut, and lock, mini-blinds (if any) are securely mounted and work, curtain rods (if any) are securely mounted, closet rods are securely installed, none of the light bulbs are burned out, etc.

I was considering ripping out the carpet (has some tough stains), installing new vinyl wood floors, repainting the walls, do a thorough deep cleaning, and converting the loft room back into a bedroom (putting up the top half of the wall and putting a door in), and then finally rent out the townhouse.
