If you buy a property from someone in shortsale or foreclosure, at discount, then sell it back to that home owner in any way shape or form including renting, it is an express ticket to club fed!

We are planning a flight to Santa Fe, getting a bike and driving to Phoenix and then spending a few days there. 

I would advise the cost of a plane ticket and some vacation time if you really want to invest long distance.

If you call Raleigh police, they will issue each unauthorized person a Trespass Ticket and get their DL and attached it to the property address.

This includes the tickets, airfare and hotel room(which I upgraded to one of their super sweet suites) and I'll be there 4 days.

I am trying to dive into real estate investing and believe creating a mailing list and searching for current lackadaisical landlords on Craigslist might be the golden ticket.  

I come and visit ever couple of years not near as much as my family would like but I dont see any of them rushing out to buy tickets.
