Once I have gotten into a unit and cleaned it up with new carpet, repairs and new paint, then I don't allow pets in again if that is going to be my policy in a unit.Pets are not a protected class so you needn't worry about discrimination so long as you aren't applying the rule in a discriminatory fashion (I.e., only telling candidates from a protected class that you don't allow pets but then allowing others to have them).

I started digging in to the statistics and I found some frightening numbers:over 11 million Americans are spending 50% or more of their paycheck on rentover 21 million are spending over 30% of their paycheck on rentover 60% of Americans have less than $1,000 in their savings accountover 20% don't even have a savings!
