My LLP (landlord policy) has very adequate coverage, fair market rent coverage, insurance on a 3 car detained garage.

The yard was huge, it had a large very damaged big house, and junky tiny house, maybe 400 square feet, and a decent 2 car garage.

And look inside their car... this is how they will treat your property!

I would compare this with buying a used car from a private owner vs. from a large bonded corporation.

And then look at things you can really downgrade like Cars, Cell phones, Eating out, Living arrangement, Cable/satellite TV, and shopping just to name a few.
