I was very surprised to find no hand soap in the dispenser by the bathroom sink (gtoss), no bar soap for the shower - just a travel size bottle of body wash.

This allows them to produce a better return on their purchase price than I can achieve.It is my view that San Diego is a tough market but OOS is a deceiving market that to do well requires going to true MF (>4 unit RE).

If both properties produce positive cash flow (which you probably shouldn't buy unless they do), then your DTI should not be hurt by purchasing the condo.
