@Mark Huneycutt - no matter where you invest - nobody is going to loan you a boat full of cash for renovations without significant skin in the game to yourself and cost.

The path had a lot of similar stops, and people...just the specifics are different.The bottom line is you can and will learn the game of REI from more than one teacher..and they all can contribute something positive to your education...paid or free.
