@Alec McGinn Hello Alec, I’m not a financial expert by any means, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I am in a very similar position as you.

They will walk it wth you, You will learn more in a day then 6 months reading booksGood luck I understand where you’re coming from, however, i have no experience in renovations so it was at least good to learn the different flooring styles/siding options/etc… i took the pricing with a grain of salt.

If you have 1 and 2 bed units, you would typically divide bill by number of bedrooms, and multiply back the number in each unit.As for snow, personally, I always had tenants take care of any individual use areas, i.e. a small porch that directly access to only one unit, the tenant needs to shovel and salt that area.  

Seal it like Fort Knox and check for water leaks.

Like anything online, take it with a grain of salt and do a little more research for yourself. 

As others mentioned too just because one person does it somewhere doesn’t mean it works somewhere else or they are making money.I take all forms of social media with a somewhat grain of salt and just because someone says they are doing it not necessarily means they are

Personally, I view those calls as a chance for you to determine if the firm has experience with client types such as yours and whether you're a good fit for their practice, and vice versa.I'd take with a grain of salt any advice that a CPA or attorney is willing to give out on a 30 minute introductory call to a non-client after a bird's eye view of their facts and circumstances.
