Why would a bank acquire a property for $80,000 one month, and list it with a realtor for 38,000 the next month.

You might negotiate with him to split it between the two of you, so you both don't lose out on it.I personally have the buyer write me the check directly unless a realtor is involved (agents normally won't allow it).

I made offers at $25,000 and $27,000 but the realtor handling the house, immediately said that the bank would not even look at an offer under $29,000.
