I couldn't imagine anyone renting a single room where I grew up, but now being close to Boston I think it would be pretty easy.

@Kiel MartinI love it see the issue is “most” investors never grew up in the city they called c and d neighborhoods so they can’t fathom that you can find good people in bad situations.

I grew up with a single mom very low class and started supporting myself at a young age.

Grew up with my dad spec building new homes for extra money, and 2 uncles in the building supply business for a few years.

I am coming from a lender's perspective and someone that grew up downstate IL and spent a lot of time in the Western Suburbs...you might have picked one of the toughest cities in American to start developing in.
