Low interest rate environment is still very attractive for borrowing as long as you don't over leverage.

My point is that things have changed since 2008, this a new environment and prosecutors earn points (acclaim) for being tough on those nasty investors, whether the "nasty" title is earned or not.

I know how I learn, and I don't think that learning environment would benefit me. 

However, as wholesaling typically leads into the flipping business, I dont suppose that it would be successful in environments where flipping does not work?

I've read some other advice regarding keeping the power on in a vacant property but the reasoning behind it is usually related to showing the property in a well lit environment at a comfortable temperature.
