Careful you don't cut the flowers and water the weeds - especially with a good team in place.  

You know, like when you get used to the flower wallpaper in your bathroom and "forget" to update it for ten years. :) 

Older folks are used to that sort of arrangement.  

I would say 50/50 being this is your first arrangement if you trust them and their experience.
