In case others were in the dark with me, I wanted to share and get everyone's thoughts.Especially with populations in Upstate stagnating/declining (see an article on that here), the long-term viability of investment in these markets might be called into question, especially when comparing to other areas around the country.That being said, these issues are not a new phenomenon.

We gave a 7k reduction to our excellent owner financed tenant due to declines in the market and the well collapsing after 4 years and my CPA did not ask for 1099C information on the tenant for that loss hhmmm.

. § 54:5-86, is defective; I think the quandary title insurers are going to find themselves in is, if in the future they decline to issue policies on titles deraigned from a tax deed because of this new suit, have they declared that the titles are unmarketable and therefore the insureds have a recoverable loss?
