There are always going to be road blocks and things that shift the world around you just have to be prepared that all.

We had a solid written offer from a local developer for 2.25 million + we could live in our houses rent free until they were demolished, likely 2 to 3 years. 13 houses on my block, majority of them assessed at around 1.2 to 1.3 million. 

The property is in a total working-class Hispanic area and my 10-year calculations based on my worse-case numbers is I will earn including cashflow, rent increases and appreciation no less than $147,000 per year and if things go well we will earn close to $2 million or $200,000 per year for 10 years.My point about telling about my recent purchase is; if you want to make the most-profitable investments then don't let anxiety block success.

The property is in Ohio.Plumber eventually snaked the toilet and ended up having to remove the toilet from the drain to pull out a kid's extra large toddler plastic blocks so it's definitely not the current tenant's item (separated woman in her 50s who lives alone in the unit with no family visiting).

A similar house in a lesser block of the city sold recently for 190k after some simple paint/refinishing of the floors. but I wouldn't want to kick the tenants out when my hope is to buy and hold obviously for the rental income.  

I am running into a bit of a road block with financing my next multi-family property.

The house is in a nice area and is the only abandoned house on the block, which is a big plus for me (probably why the bidding on this house went so high).

I've seen a few larger single family houses that have a door blocking the staircase up, then they added an external staircase to the house turning it into an upstairs/downstairs duplex.
